where to buy windsavers?
Some of the windsavers in my Hohner 64 Chromonica have broken off, and I want to try to repair it,or possibly get it repaired locally (SF east bay). I just read that you can make windsavers yourself out of plastic sheet, Id like advice about that vs buying them, and where locally to buy, or do I have to getthem from Hohner.de directly. Id also appreciate recommendations of a shop or person who repairs harmonicas. Thanks.See More

Looked like most folks stayed home to watch the Giants beat the Phillies in a classic battle (YAY!), but those who attended saw and heard another great evening of music.

We'll convene for our quarterly jam session at Armando's, 707 Marina Vista, Marinez, CA, from 7 to 10 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 20.
Featured players will include Mark Irwin, Grant Walters, Paul Palizzolo and Paul Meredith plus the House Band, among whom are Jim Caroompas and Kelly Back on guitars, Rikk Casavecchio on bass, Todd Dauer on keys and a drummer tbn. My group Awed Ducks will open the show.
